Warren A. Eddy'65
Warren A. Eddy, 66, died August 18, 2010, after a brave battle with cancer.
He was born May 4, 1944 in Worcester, MA to Warren H. Eddy and Margaret Hurley Eddy. Warren is survived by his wife, Marie Eddy, his children Douglas Grant of Olathe, KS, Ronald Grant of Houston, TX and Margaret Eddy Peters of Rohnert Park, CA; six grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, ME, and was a Merchant Marine. He lived in Massachusetts and Rhode Island until he moved to Maine in 1971.
He worked as an HR Manager for an industrial construction firm which took him from Maine to Texas and finally to California in 1985. He was a member and Eucharistic Minister of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Windsor, CA.
Warren enjoyed many things, but above all he had an immense love of the ocean, his family, traveling in his RV, hockey and serving God. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shrewsbury, MA on August 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester.
