John T. Marra '62
John T. Marra, 69, formerly of Marlboro, NJ, passed away on July 14, 2011, at home in Sarasota, FL. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Sylvester) for 46 years, the beloved father of Denise Westenhofer and Traci Marra and grandfather of Christopher and Thomas Westenhofer.
John was a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and served as Lt. Commander in the Navy Reserves. He was an executive of MacKay Communications and earlier in his career was employed by Sea-Land Services, Inc.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
