Burton deFrees '46
RUMFORD – Burton S. deFrees, 85, English teacher and theater director from Rumford Center, and son of the late Burton and Edwina (Lawson) deFrees Sr., died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011.
He is survived by his three grown children, Evelyn, Elizabeth and Ethan, and their families.
Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 17 at Rumford Falls Auditorium, 145 [ http://bangordailynews.com/organization/congress/ ]Congress St.; municipal building second floor with handicapped access on River Street side.
