Herbert Almon "Bart" Bartholomew IV '87

Capt. Herbert Almon "Bart" Bartholomew IV, 45, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at his home in Denham Springs, LA. 

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Randi Amis Bartholomew; son, Jackson Reese Bartholomew; father, Dr. Herbert A. Bartholomew III; sisters, Claire B. Horn and Ella Bartholomew; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Rhonda Amis; as well as numerous other family, friends and dear loved ones. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jaci Fowler, and step-mother, Constance Locke Bartholomew. He was a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy. His career enabled him to sail all over the world and he had a true passion for the sea. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend that will be truly missed by all that knew him.
