Phillip E. Allen '69
Phillip E. Allen ’69 of Standish, Maine died suddenly on March 8, 2010. For three years after his MMA graduation, he worked as a merchant mariner. After his marriage, he began working for his father in his wholesale florist’s business which he and his brother later bought and operated until its closing in 2008. He loved golf, especially the yearly Allen Open Golf Scramble. He was known as a quiet, dry-witted, warm, and kind man who was always just a phone call away for those in need.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cheryl, and a son and daughter.
